Dear Subscribers,
I wanted to offer you a special opportunity for Easter and the upcoming eclipse. Please use the link below to get 40% off all products from The Liminal Institute, including past seminars such as Secret Traditions and Spiritual Revolutions (on the history of the Western occult), the audio version of Quetzalcoatl Returns (originally 2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl), and, most importantly, our upcoming seminar, Embracing Our Emergency. This offer last for one week.
I am very excited about this upcoming seminar. I think it could be groundbreaking. Both Josh Fox (my cohost) and I tend toward spontaneity, emergence, and chaos. What seems to be emerging now, as we develop this course, is an opportunity for the current ecological movement to reflect on itself, while we also provide resources and tools for people to plan for a turbulent future.
Our speakers represent an amazing roster of figures representing different facets of this global movement. This includes: Bill McKibben who founded 350.org and Third Act, his new environmental organization for people over sixty; Marianne Williamson, a Presidential candidate with a spiritual message; Gail Bradbrook, co-founder of Extinction Rebellion; climate activist Jane Fonda, and Thomas Hartmann, nationally syndicated progressive radio host and author of The Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight, a great book on fossil fuels and modern civilization; and Jamie Wheal, author of Recapture the Rapture. We’ve also got Jem Bendell (Breaking Together), Alnoor Ladha (Post-Capitalist Philanthropy) and Nate Hagens (The Great Simplification) — all extraordinary and important thinkers — as presenters. And many more amazing characters… some from Josh’s community who I am still learning about, such as Doug Good Feather and Xiye Bastida, a 21 year old Mexican climate justice activist who co-founded Re-Earth Initiative. The roster is here.
