As a long-time fan of George Kuhlwind I am happy to see him referenced here, and especially love this quote: “A single human being has no reality; the existence of ‘man’ begins with the word that floats between I and you.” Reading this essay, which encapsulates to an uncanny degree my own almost obsessive ruminations on the subject - Imagination as a formative power arising in the relational space between us, and how this understanding can guide us to creative action on behalf of the whole, etc. What you point to in this essay is essentially the central theme in the children's time-travel fantasy I have been working on all summer. So needless to say, I am eagerly looking forward to your class.
