Hi People,
My new writing workshop starts next week. We will meet on four consecutive weeks, on Tuesday from 1 - 4 pm EST. The focus is nonfiction, although other genres can be explored. I would like to help people develop an essay or nonfiction piece which we can then publish, altogether, in a separate newsletter, potentially under a unifying theme.
Of course, people can also continue their own individual projects, including fiction, if they prefer. But I do think it would be fun if the outcome of the workshop leads to something we can present to a larger audience. Hopefully this is more valuable for writers who want to build their audience.
Cost is $100 for the four sessions but before Sunday you can use this coupon for 10% off.
I've taken several of these workshops and highly recommend them to those who would like help with their non-fiction articles, essays, books, or other writing projects. Daniel always makes excellent points, as do the wonderful attendees from all over the world. My writing has improved considerably over the past year, as has my list of reading material.
I'll miss this one as Tuesdays are devoted to Plein-air sessions with my abstract art group, and I'll be travelling the first week of August. We don't get a lot of summer-ish weather on the We(s)t Coast so we must take advantage ;)
I'd like to sign up for this workshop too but having problems with the link.
Also, I write poetry about politics, so non-fictional, certainly far more non-fictional than the politicians' usual lies. Can I submit a poem about the ejection of Boris Johnson to the writers' workshop.
