Hi People,
We are in the second week of Building Our Regenerative Future, our month-long webinar. With over 220 participants so far, we are building a vibrant interactive community exploring the crucial issues of our time. So far, highlights include Tom Newmark, legendary entrepreneur and director of The Carbon Undergound, explaining how it is still possible to stop and even reverse climate change through a global shift to regenerative agriculture. James Ehrlich, founder of RegenVillages, showed how we can construct new human settlements that are fully self-sufficient and regenerative, using machine learning. Sarah Wu, co-founder of EnvisionFest, took us on a journey through adaptogenic herbs and their health benefits.
There is still time to join the course. The first three sessions are archived and available for viewing. In our Slack community, we are exploring all of the topics raised in our dialogues — and more. We may also add an extra session or two, depending on community interest. Use the coupon WEGENERATE for a 20% discount.
Today, at 12:30 pm EST / 5:30 pm BST / 6:30 pm CET / 9:30 am PST, we have our Session on Culture. See below for a roster of participants.
Hope to see you there!
CULTURE
Please join us tomorrow, Thursday, July 8, at 12:30 pm EDT / 5:30 pm BST / 6:30 pm CET / 9:30 am PST for the next session of Building Our Regenerative Future.
As a storyteller for our human tribe, can you guide the people toward shared purpose and unified action?
As traditional institutions lose their authority, we are engaged in a process of collective “sense-making.” But it often feels that we lack the tools for this. As a result, some people retreat into conspiracy theories. Such theories provide the comfort of a dualistic, good-versus-evil vision of the world, while avoiding overwhelming complexity and uncertainty.
We show how the new, coherent “story of the people” is emerging now. As we define a new, shared understanding of our world, we construct a solid framework for purposeful, collective action.
