From what I understand, the two best groups which need your donations right now are Move the Vote and Seed the Vote. If you want to help prevent a Fascist dictatorship in the USA, I would give to both of these groups as much as you can today. What follows is a pitch from Sri Kulkarni, one of the creators of Reach, who spoke to us yesterday:
Many of you are wondering what you can do, as individuals and as influencers, to impact this incredibly close and important election which is being decided as we speak. On our Saturday Zoom I introduced you to a program called "Friendbanking" that I believe is the highest leverage thing you and your followers can do to affect this election.
The punchline is that if you use an app ("Reach Progressive Organizing") to tell the rest of us WHO you know (add at least 50 people to your network), the app will tell you WHAT the campaigns know about these voters (whether they have missed an election before and if they have voted yet this time) so we can all "friendbank" or find the missing votes in our own networks. The goals of the program are to: reduce spam political calls for your friends, reach the 3/4 of voters who are "unreachable" by a stranger, and have the maximum impact on the election in the shortest possible time.
