Brilliant read! Resonate with so much of this, my own experience of psychosis that lead me to slipping in to an alternative lower dimensions as well as the adverse, spiritual emergency which lead me to believing a had magic powers (which I do believe I do to a certain degree) but definitely in an ungrounded and toxic way.
Would love to read up more about experiences such as yours on the playa as well as the above as it resonates almost to the tee with my experience - have your book on the shortlist but any extra reading you'd suggest would love to read. So easy to think these experiences happen in silos but really means the world knowing I'm not alone.
Your platform is the only place ive come across that speaks about this openly and I fully commend the bravery it takes to talk about such a thing on a public platform. I've struggled even sharing with close friends! But one thing I do know is that is these experiences are a lot more common than we think, especially in our circles as burners and doofers (Australian Music Festival Heads)
Thank you Moe! Yes I am afraid many people - even thousands if not more - are having ambiguous interactions with spirits leading to low-grade possession experiences as a result of unprotected use of psychedelics at festivals etc. I think we need to get this out into the open! Thank you for your courage in responding to what I wrote. I wish we could get more people speaking about this, even anonymously.
Me, too, eventually. Bogged down with lots at the moment. But I had an outer body experience. I was between 10-13 years old. I’m 71 now. A long, long time ago (and far away, smile). It was while I had a ganglion cyst removed from my left wrist. It had been giving me the most irritating pain. There I was asleep, on the stretcher and began feeling the sensation of pain. I could hear the Dr. Operating on me, flirting with his nurse friend, which was assisting him. Then as the NES anesthesiologist, allowed me to surface more awake. It was sharp pain.
I tried correcting a typo and it closed. Anyway I jerked my arm or attempted to because it was strapped down. I lifted my head looking and as I did the surgeon, screamed at the anesthesiologist anesthesiologist and I put my head back down. Looked to where the IV was connected to a 20 or 30cc syringe, full. Evidently the anesthesiologist was perturbed and I saw it all( sodium pentothal) being pumped into my vein! I was young but I knew that it was lethal. I woke in the recovery room. I felt one nurse taking my blood pressure. I fell asleep and woke suffocating. I couldn’t breathe and I saw the nurses all by their nurses station. Sigh... I was scared so I ran over to tell them I couldn’t breathe. They couldn’t see me nor hear me. But I could as though I was in my body. So I waited a few minutes or probably seconds decided to very cautiously and fearfully look over at the stretcher I had been on. I was the only one in there at that time. It was early morning. To my great surprise and fear was my body. Then quicker than I can explain I was back transported into my body! I was also then almost simultaneously going up into a round grey sided tunnel. All the while being transported upwards. I was confused and frantically looking around trying to make sense of the situation. Long story short, I decided to look straight towards a light that was opaque, not bright light. And said to myself I’m going there. I was being transported anyway there. Then I hear, my nurse screaming for the head nurse and one on one side taking a blood pressure and the other on the other side taking the blood pressure. The head nurse exclaimed,” she’s gone.” Quietly and backed away, telling my nurse to go get her Dr. I don’t remember anything next until I hear and feel my Dr. Slapping me open handed many times up side my right side of my face. It hurt, lots and hearing him constantly asking where are your parents? I told him the truth, “ they don’t care.” They were quite and one said that’s the problem. Anyway, I was so awfully nauseous and throwing up from the medication, so sick. I had another physician come and sit on the edge of the chair like he was expectant. But never said a word and left. There was some more in the tunnel. But basically my outer body experience.

I think you may have added this comment to the wrong post, however?
Yes I may have been combining a comment from two of your posts in to one aye.
If you have any further reading online about similar experiences as to the playa adventures please do let me know :)

Well, here's one person who will definitely be reading that autobiography! Riveting!
