People would need alternatives to using products that are culturally accepted and stigmas need to be created against using any that harm the planet in pop culture through media and any other means necessary like catch phrases and other language devices. They would need jobs that didn’t support those industries they could move to if they left a job at companies that didn’t support such initiatives. Working for industries that were out of compliance should be frowned upon and social sanctions put in place that impacted membership in society.
Re radically transforming they system and the list of reasons, I want to thank you so so much for what you wrote in particular the list of reasons. I am still learning to be a gentle activist, let alone radical. However I feel very stirred by what you have written, and look forward to joining one of your discussion calls. I want to become more open to positive possibility, being the change - however that might shape up.
