Know what, Daniel? You are like some ultimate fight combo of Thomas Paine, Cassandra on the Walls of Troy and The Oracle of Delphi. Around six months or so ago my aging brain managed to combine a couple of facts I accidentally ran into while scanning the trad media it was then my habit to rely on. The first was Curtis Yarvin's 'joke' about turning the poor into biofuel, and the second Peter Thiel's stated belief that it was a dark day when women got the vote. I'd already sussed out the POV espoused by Ayn Rand and beloved by 'alpha'males with elevated self concepts and no appreciation of interconnectivity, inter-reliance or the observations of many sages of many cultures that we are cut from the same cloth and in some ultimate way irrevocably one. (Never mind that Rand was a self-destructive depressive.) So I got to thinking THIS WAS IT: what's really going on with all that shadowy influence and dark money and the rise of an orange turd like Trump, his mysterious admiration for Putin and so on. Kleig lights flooded my old gray cranium, but I worried I was becoming some sort of demented conspiracy theorist, so I sat on all that. Then gradually, beneath all the repetitive noise and media speculation, I began to hear the signal. I started to speak up, not that anyone is likely to listen to the likes of a retired therapist and your fellow autodidact. (Most useful stuff I know did not arrive courtesy of my eight years of college and grad school.) But you have this platform and are reaching people's ears! Not only am I so much better informed as well as validated by this single post, but I feel as if we all now have a better chance to avert what surely would be a disaster without precedent. (I remember also that Musk thinks empathy is a net negative. OMG.) May you live long and prosper, young son. The money I pulled from my dwindling retirement accounts to pay for this substack was money well spent.

Leigh, this was my exact journey. I’m a business strategist and have been digging and diving through everything I could get my hands on for years and it all snapped into focus when I saw a YouTube video on this underground movement.

And Daniel, God love you. You and Heather C. Richardson went first to benefit us all—she covered this on 3/27. It’s huge, and I am grateful.

This is such a battle. It starts with locking down your data HARD. But, what next? How do we get more to sound the alarm before it’s too late?

I wish the hell I had all the answers, but I expect that they will begin to emerge as more and more informed and able people turn their laser focus toward this group of delusional mega-egotists and their hard to see manipulations of our economy, cultural angst and government. For now, if we dare, the rest of us just need to keep pointing at the threat. Which won't necessarily be comfortable. God love you and Heather, heroes both.

The tech bro oligarchs and the power hungry GOP thought that they could control their shit flinging crazy monkey with bribes. Turns out crazy monkey demands treats 24/7 and even then he does not behave. No matter how depraved or elegant their social experiment is on paper, crazy monkey does not read and the zoo keepers control the access, while the public is a captive audience.

Right after the tariffs were announced, Aeroflot, the Russian Airline ,opened direct flights into many points in Vietnam & Asia. This is a planned demolition. Gaps being immediately filled.

I agree with much of what’s being said here. Globalization was kickstarted by Clinton and has been going on for a long time. You don’t undo this process overnight with a shock and awe approach. So something seems off here. I have indeed heard theories and comments in other quarters that the chaos is intentional. Conceivably, it also echoes what happened with Covid lockdowns whereby financial elites profited from chaos, confusion, and economic uncertainty. Do we see a pattern here? Increased militarization globally also rounds out the picture.

This is the proposition of techno-feudalism and a gross betrayal of the amazing technological capabilities that now exist which could be used for noble purposes if properly shepherded while avoiding the ugly spectre of technocratic control. The Yarvin quotes are deeply disturbing, of course. The current descent into dehumanized conditions is only taking place because our best minds in academia and government have never fully faced, solved, or achieved broad consensus concerning the existential puzzle of how a Western European nation could have descended into horrific barbarity. I also like that a ramp up of military surveillance of the populace has been mentioned and agree that crypto is a disaster waiting to happen.

I just spotted this. Another development pointing to the notion that Trump/Musk intend to develop an AI-based government and healthcare infrastructure:

Dr Oz tells federal health workers AI could replace frontline doctors

I’ve been ferociously absorbed in getting every point of my personal data locked down from Palantir, or anything remotely akin to it. I think there’s a black hole of information regarding how a surveillance system could be flipped on quickly, and how DOGE is feeding it with terrifying levels of fuel. At this point, I truly believe doing this is the first line of defense for anyone in this midst of these conversations.

DP’s paragraph 2/3 begs comment.

1) MSM has discredited itself.

2) DJT is a puppet of the factions behind the scenes: early magas, p25s and the Brolis. Any other?

3) These factions are strange bedfellows, no?

4) These factions are winning.

Watching American commentator after commentator on European news they are an unbearable arrogant ignorant bunch of arses that reflect the nations will in voting for these people. Piss off America, you have ripped the world off for decades with your reserve currencies, control of global organisations, coups, hatred of anything left of Atilia the Hun in debt up to their eyeballs. Totally deluded planet trashers

I was reminded of the movie "Soylent Green" when I read about the biodiesel being made from poor humans. That movie really predicted the future better than any other: shortages of every sort; limited resources, including housing; hoards of people with nothing to do; crowd control by giant front loaders; climate change.

yes, they are investors. Substack is working very well for me. I appreciate you can download your emails and move them to another platform like Ghost if you want. At the moment I am benefiting from the "network effect" here, and also I like the tools they keep adding like Live Video. But if there is an ideological misalignment or a change in their policies, I will skip away.

Good. It has become incumbent upon users of any media platforms to question usage and stay nimble, keeping the “go bag” at the ready.
